2Respond uses the power of smart phones and text to give you instant feedback from your class or conference audience.  Just set up your discussion groups and create your questions on your computer or tablet.  Then ask your people to send a text to register.   They will receive your questions by text and you will see their responses on your computer.

Scroll down the 6 easy steps from the creation to results.
Six Easy Steps

STEP 1:   SIGN UP

Begin by signing up and completing a simple form. You will receive a confirmation of your account in the inbox of your registered email address.

STEP 2:  CREATE A GROUP

Once you have confirmed your registration, create a new group.
  1. Enter a Start Date and time
  2. Enter an End Date and Time
  3. You must enter a unique name for your  initiative "group's id"    Just make it short and simple.   For example, the initiative could be: ABC1 or A123 as long as it has not already been used.
  4. Choose a telephone number on the dropdown menu
  5. Add a welcome message that participants will receive on registration and a thank you message that they will receive after responding to each question.

STEP 3:  INVITE PARTICIPANTS TO SIGNUP

To register, a participant simply sends the name of your group as a text message to the phone number you chose in step 2.

Select "Send a follow up question to this initiative"  to create the questions you want to send to the participants

Select "Send a blast message to this initiative" to send important or time sensitive information to your participants.

STEP 4:  CREATE QUESTIONS

Create questions for your group.  Each question must be 160 characters or less

Questions can be an open ended or chosen criteria.  You can also create multiple choice if you add possible answers and check "multiple choice format".  The answers you list will be added to the end of your question as you submit and automatically given a 1, 2, 3 or 4  (160 character total)

If you choose Multiple Choice, you can select the correct response and responders will be notified if the answer is correct or not.  If Multiple Choice, Responders do not need to write out the answer.  They can reply with 1, 2, 3 or 4

If a participant is a member of just one group at any given time, they do not need to include the group name in the response.  However if they belong to simultaneous groups, they must enter the name of the group at the beginning of each response.

Select "Share this survey" and enter an email address to send your results to anyone.
